Six and a half years ago they went to the prom at Villa Joseph Marie.  Marielle was a junior and her date kinda’ ditched her at the prom.  Jonathan ( who went to Upper Moreland) was the date of another girl and his date kinda’ ditched him.  They ended up sitting at the same table together.  The following year they went to the senior prom together and have been together ever since.   On December 1 2007 while watching the movie “Home Alone”  at Marielle’s house, Jonathan had an engagement ring in his pocket.  He was so excited that he proposed in the middle of the movie.   Apparently not the time he planned to do it.  We got this bit of dirt from Rachel, Marielle’s twin sister and Joanna their younger sister.   Today, Marielle and Jonathan said “I DO” in between downpours.   If it’s true that raining on your wedding day brings you good luck, they are the luckiest couple on this earth.   St. Andrew’s in Newtown PA is a beautiful church for a wedding.  Marielle’s grandmom was the Eucharistic Minister.   Marielle’s students from Villa Joseph Marie also attended the wedding mass and stayed for a group photo with their teacher.  After the mass, Celebrations Limousine Service took the couple and the bridal party to Normandy Farms in Blue Bell PA for a fabulous reception.   Purple Reign entertained all night  and kept the dance floor very busy.  A whole lot of struttin’ went on when the Polish American String Band made a surprise appearance.   Henry from Henry Franz Productions captured it all on video.   A little more info from Rachel and Joanna…..Marielle and Jonathan both LOVE the Phillies and are big Shane Victorino fans.   They will enjoy a great honeymoon in Scottsdale Arizona.  ”Home Alone”…no more!
